As an independent curator and consultant specialized in contemporary art Laurence Dreyfus has organized within the last ten years numerous exhibitions in New York, Paris, London, Barcelona, and Geneva. Laurence Dreyfus has worked as an independent curator for the last 12 years. She started her company LDAC in order to advise cultural institutions, businesses, and private collectors in their projects with contemporary artists. To this day, she has realized several exhibitions in prestigious locations such as the Musée d’art Contemporain in Lyon for the Biennale that took place there in 2001, the Palais de Tokyo with Tokyo Games in 2002, and the exclusive presentation of the collection of German industrialist H. Falckenberg at la Maison Rouge in 2004. After which, her more European career begins when she is called upon by the city of Geneva to put together the exhibition Version concerning new medias, and by the bank Caixa in Barcelona in 2006 for Histoires animées on the subject of politics and animation. The year 2007 is a turning point in her career when the famous founder of Parasol Unit in London offers her the space for Momentary Momentum, Animated Drawings and then in Kettle's Yard in Cambridge. She is immediately sought after in 2008 by the Lincoln Center in New York to prepare an ambitious project that would go around the world centered on « Les Tableaux d’une exposition » by Modest Mussorgski, and then for the project “Pictures Reframed,” a piano concert presented in 24 cities around the world in prestigious venues: Paris, New York, London, Abu D’Abi…. Every year during the FIAC she presents exceptional pieces to collectors in Paris’ most discrete address La Réserve-Paris in the place du Trocadéro. Currently, Laurence Dreyfus is collaborating with Cerruti to develop future artistic projects.
